These cards were available as furoku inserts in the Fushigi Yuugi Perfect World Magazine. Each magazine (volumes 1-8 only) contained a packet with 1 Suzaku card, 1 Seiryuu card, and 1 Genbu card (featuring all the miko and shichiseishi). Volume 2 contained a mailaway for the Binder plus the 3 Binder cards (featuring the 3 known Byakko seishi). 5 Drama CDs were released at varying times, and limited first edition presses came with a card of a non-seishi character in Genbu Kaiden. Volume 8 also contained a mailaway, where all entrants would receive all of the Suzaku, Seiryuu, and Genbu cards previously released plus the last Genbu card (the 8th Genbu shichiseishi). All entrants would also be placed in a lottery to receive the previous mailaway of the Binder and Binder Cards.
